West Bengal State Warehousing Corporation, under administrative control of Food & Supplies Department, Govt. of West Bengal, is a statutory Corporation under the Warehousing Corporation Act, 1962.

WBSWC provides scientific storage facilities and allied services to various Depositors. Besides it provides storage facilities for preservation of procured rice for Public Distribution System administered by the Food & Supplies Department.

The Board of Directors of WBSWC comprises the Chairman and five Directors each from the State Govt. and the Central Warehousing Corporation.
